Today was a great science day! Special thanks to Mrs. Adhikari (Jay's mom) for all her help! We were investigating the properties of different types of wood and also how they act in water! The kids worked in partners (pictured below).
Investigations:
1. Smelling, feeling, looking at 4 kinds of wood.
2. Testing absorbency with eye droppers.
3. Testing floating/sinking.
4. Trying to make blocks of wood sink with paper clips.
